About Me

As a child, I would belt out “Take it to the Limit” by the Eagles from the highest ground I could find in my parent’s living room. I was often dressed in a costume rummaged from the tickle trunk and holding a spoon for a microphone. Those pop star dreams faded but years later I found a new creative outlet.

I followed my passion for travelling the world and it lead me to a career writing stories about outdoor adventure and tourism. I am curious to research and write about issues that can impact change, our interaction with the environment, and personal stories about the human experience.

When I’m not writing you can find me riding my bike though the rainforest or relaxing by a fire with a good nonfiction book. I’m also very skilled at travelling on a shoestring and diving headfirst into new experiences—usually ones that scare me.
